Hi, I am Clemens, a computational social data scientist and sociology PhD student at the University of Oxford. I research political sociology, political polarization, public opinion, cognitive biases, and the impact of (digital) media on public opinion and social behaviour. My expertise is in quantitative methods, including descriptive and inferential statistics, causal inference, network analysis, and machine learning.
I hold a BSc in Business Studies (Finance, Bayes Business School) and an MSc in Sociology (University of Oxford). Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Sociology at the University of Oxford, where I am conducting research on the impact of media on political polarization and public opinion.
Outside of academia, I am a mountaineer and nature enthusiast. I enjoy exploring new hikes, climbs, and slopes around the world. I am also passionate about space exploration and following the latest developments in space technology.
